The quote mentioned three personifications of destiny, and you said you were “going for destiny”. I ask, which personification? Hopefully not the thief?

Life is mostly luck, not destiny but that would never make it into a Hollywood script. It wouldn’t sell! I can’t judge a book I haven’t read, but that quote is pure cotton-candie.

Love this. I read something similar, on what I wish I knew as a young adult. “I wish someone had told me I had to have more of my own hand in my destiny.”
